Hardwood flooring!!
We are finally installing hardwood floors! It is reclaimed (used) 3/4" thick oak. It will be sanded and then stained a medium to dark stain.
We have had a few weeks of smoky skies. Today, however it rained and our clear blue skies are back!

Walls and trim are painted!
All of the walls and door trim upstairs are painted including inside the closets! The master was painted 3 times. I decided I didn't want the same color in that room as the rest of the house. Jacob didn't get that memo and he painted it. I repainted the master bed and bath grey and then decided it was the wrong color. I then painted both the rooms light blue, probably not the right color, but I am done!
Decking is being installed on the east side of the house!
The interior doors have been patched and will be sanded and painted next week.

Working on the Deck!
It is taking a lot longer and costing a lot more, but the new deck will be worth it.
The deck started with 2 feet deep footings filled with concrete, then rebar with epoxy to connect the piers to the concrete in the footings. Then the 6X6 posts were attached.
Then the deck joists were attached to the frame. And then the decking is being installed. Beautiful Redwood!
